A personal AI matchmaker for Jewish singles

No swiping. Just meeting.

Zugi gets to know you through a private conversation, then introduces you to one thoughtfully chosen person at a time, so you can spend less time on dating apps and more time meeting in real life.

Private by design. Mutual consent. Real-world dates.

A thoughtful introduction

One person. A real reason to meet.

Shared only after both profiles are ready.

  • Member-approved profiles
  • Private mutual decisions
  • One introduction at a time
  • A phone call before meeting
  • Public first meeting planning

A different way to meet

Dating apps give you more profiles. Zugi gives you a thoughtful introduction.

You should not have to sort through hundreds of people to find one meaningful possibility. Zugi learns what matters to you, respects your boundaries, and makes a considered introduction only when there is a real reason to meet.

How Zugi works

From a real conversation to a phone call, and then a first meeting.

  1. Step 01

    Talk to Zugi

Have a private, natural conversation about who you are, what you value, and the life you want to build.

Speak or type. Pause, skip, or return anytime.

  2. Step 02

    Review and approve your profile

Zugi creates a clear summary. Nothing is shared until you review it and approve it.

You control what becomes part of an introduction.

  3. Step 03

    Receive one introduction

Zugi presents one thoughtful introduction and each of you decides privately whether to continue.

No public rejection. No endless browsing.

  4. Step 04

    Talk by phone

When both people accept, Zugi sets up a short phone call so you can hear each other before any meeting in person.

Zugi connects the call. Phone numbers stay private.

  5. Step 05

    Meet in a public place

Only if both of you want to continue after the call, Zugi helps coordinate a first meeting in an approved public place.

One introduction at a time. No direct messaging between members.

More than a profile

Zugi listens for what cannot fit inside a bio.

In a private 20 to 30 minute conversation, Zugi learns about your values, everyday life, relationship intentions, Jewish life, and the kind of partnership you hope to build.

  • Pause and return anytime
  • Speak or type
  • Skip any question
  • Keep an answer private
  • Approve every shared summary

Zugi is an AI matchmaker, not a therapist or emergency service.

Example conversation
  • What does a meaningful Jewish home look like to you?
  • What matters most in the life you want to build?

Your answer remains private while you are talking with Zugi.

  • Keep private

Clear context before you decide

Yes, you see their photos and approved profile before meeting.

When Zugi presents an introduction, each person sees approved photos, first name, age, general location, approved profile information, and the reasons Zugi believes the introduction is worth considering.

Jewish connection, personally understood

There is no single way to build a Jewish life.

Zugi makes space for different backgrounds, traditions, cultures, levels of observance, orientations, and visions for home and family. You describe your identity and what matters to you. Zugi does not decide whether anyone is “Jewish enough.”

  • You control what is shared
  • Declines stay private
  • First meetings are public

The meaning behind the name

Zugi means “my partner.”

זוגzug. pair or couple

Zugi comes from the Hebrew word zug, meaning a pair or couple. The name reflects the purpose of the service: helping two people discover whether a meaningful partnership could begin.

Common questions

Short answers to what people ask first.

What is Zugi?
Zugi is a Jewish matchmaking service. It gets to know you in a private conversation and then presents one thoughtful introduction at a time, in English or Hebrew.
Is Zugi free?
Creating an account and talking with Zugi costs nothing today. Membership options have not been announced, and pricing will be published before member access opens.
Does Zugi use swiping?
No. There is no swipe deck and no directory to browse. You see a profile only when Zugi presents that person as your introduction.
What happens after both people accept?
Nothing is scheduled automatically. Zugi arranges a short phone call first, and only if both of you want to continue does it help coordinate a first meeting in an approved public place.
What profile information is shared?
Your chosen first name, age, general area, approved photos, and the profile sections you approved. Never your last name, address, phone number, email, or interview transcript.
How can someone report a safety concern?
Blocking and reporting controls sit inside every introduction, and serious reports reach a trained person for review. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
